No one in the fight against coronavirus can be left alone—especially those on the front lines. In response to the needs of the healthcare sector, USP Zdrowie, along with its team working daily with the medical community, has delivered personal protective equipment to over 500 facilities across Poland! This is the culmination of the campaign we mentioned in the update We are committed to helping the healthcare sector.

Since the beginning of our company’s existence, the focus of our activities has always been on people and their health – says Robert Jurgawka, Chief Marketing & Organization Officer of USP Zdrowie – We could not remain indifferent to the current situation, so out of concern for those on the front line, we decided to support the Polish healthcare system.

Selected facilities received a full range of health protection items during the COVID-19 pandemic. The equipment ordered by the company included, among others:

  • 92 thousand disposable masks
  • 500,000 gloves
  • 7.9k disposable gowns
  • 11 thous. disinfectant liquids
  • 3.1k face shields
  • 2,5 thousand protective suits
  • 1 thousand FFP2 masks
  • 1k FFP3 masks
  • 600 pcs. non-contact thermometers

The campaign has a nationwide reach, and the coordinator of the entire campaign is Medical Unit USP Zdrowie – a team of 48 people who cooperate daily with the medical community.

Working with the medical community, we have the opportunity to directly listen to their needs. In the face of the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, this action is our natural response precisely to those needs. We couldn’t imagine acting otherwise – says Aniela Nowakowska – Medical Unit Director USP Zdrowie.
