Information on ibuprofen within the context of COVID-19

Referring to the information published in the media related to an alleged impact of taking the active substance ibuprofen which is present in the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) on the worsening of the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, we hereby inform you that according to the European Medicines Agency, there is currently no scientific evidence establishing a link between ibuprofen and worsening of COVID19. On the basis of the data available, there is no need for patients taking ibuprofen to stop their treatment. This information has also been published by the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.
