On April 23rd, runners, including employees of USP Zdrowie, will for the seventh time line up for the DOZ Maraton Łódź and the 10k Run.
However, they are not only in for sporting emotions. The organizers have announced this year’s event as the “Loudest Marathon in Poland.” Over 50 cheering points with loud music will be set up along the 42-kilometer route. Piotr Rogucki, leader of the band Coma, has joined the organizing team and will also participate in the marathon. The route of the Łódź marathon will be divided into 7 zones, with marathoners experiencing a different music genre in each zone.
As part of the DOZ Marathon Łódź, a series of accompanying events are held, including races for children and teenagers aged 3 to 16 – Kids Run, which will take place on April 22nd. The youngest participants will compete at distances ranging from 200 to 1800 meters. Kids Run participants will receive commemorative T-shirts and a medal at the finish line. Additionally, during the event, there will be a Family Picnic “Dbam o Zdrowie” and the Run&Fun sports expo.
The title sponsor of the 10k Run is Ibuprom Sport, and the title sponsor of the Kids Run is Pelavo.
