In reference to the reports appearing in the media regarding the alleged impact of taking the medicinal substance ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), on the worsening course of the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, we inform that the European Medicines Agency states that currently there is no scientific evidence confirming the link between ibuprofen and the worsening of the COVID-19 disease course.
