In the face of the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, no one can remain indifferent. USP Zdrowie, along with its team, working daily with the medical community, supports healthcare workers in the fight against coronavirus. Our company will donate personal protective equipment to as many as 264 facilities throughout Poland!

*In the current situation – the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, which presents us all with unprecedented challenges, our mission – We change the world around you with care for your health and that of your loved ones, has gained even new, greater significance.* – says Robert Jurgawka, Chief Marketing & Organization Officer USP Zdrowie. *We could not remain indifferent to this situation, so in concern for those on the front line, we decided to support the Polish healthcare service.*

The coordinator of the entire action is Medical Unit USP Zdrowie – a team of 48 people who cooperate daily with the medical community.

*In their daily work, our employees interact with doctors of many specializations, working in various facilities across Poland. We therefore have the opportunity to directly listen to their needs. In the face of the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, this initiative is our natural response to these needs. We couldn’t imagine acting otherwise.* – says Aniela Nowakowska – Medical Unit Director USP Zdrowie.

The following brands from the company’s portfolio are involved in the action: Ibuprom, Apap, Pelavo, Estabiom, Xenna Balance, Berimal Forte, Naturell, and Inovox.

We want to show patients that we support medical workers in the fight against the coronavirus, therefore we emphasize this also as part of the April ATL campaign for the APAP and Ibuprom brands.

Personal protective equipment will be delivered to 264 medical facilities across Poland: 141 clinics and 123 hospitals (including 157 departments).

Selected facilities will receive a full range of health protection articles during the COVID-19 pandemic. Equipment ordered by the company will include, among others:

• 67 thousand disposable masks
• 2,500 protective suits
• 3.1 thousand face shields
• 500 thousand gloves
• 7,9 thousand disposable aprons
• 10 thousand disinfectant liquids
• 4,000 FFP2 masks

Ordered items as part of the USP Zdrowie campaign will reach their destinations by April 18th of this year.
