We are pleased to announce that a new brand is joining our portfolio – Recenum, which is a
medication for acute diarrhea in children, reducing the risk of dehydration by shortening the duration
of diarrhea, regardless of its etiology.

Recenum contains racecadotril – a substance recommended by the European
Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPHAN) for the treatment of acute
diarrhea in children as young as three months old, as a supplement to rehydration and maintenance
nutrition.

Recenum – a remedy for acute diarrhea introduced in two variants:

Recenum Junior is the first OTC status medication with racecadotril for children. OTC status
facilitates repeated self-purchase for quick initiation of treatment at home and allows pharmacists
to actively recommend the medication, which was previously only available
by prescription.

Recenum Baby remains an Rx status medication and is recommended for the youngest children
by pediatricians.
