No one in the fight against the coronavirus can be left alone—especially those on the front lines. In response to the needs of healthcare services, USP Zdrowie, along with its team that collaborates daily with the medical community, has donated personal protective equipment to over 500 facilities across Poland! This is the culmination of the campaign we mentioned in the news We engage in helping healthcare services.
Since the inception of our company, the focus of our activities has always been on people and their health – says Robert Jurgawka, Chief Marketing & Organization Officer USP Zdrowie – We could not remain indifferent to the current situation, so in concern for those on the front lines, we decided to support the Polish healthcare system.
Selected institutions received a full range of health protection articles during the COVID-19 pandemic. The equipment ordered by the company included, among others:
- 92 thousand disposable masks
- 500,000 gloves
- 7.9k disposable gowns
- 11 thousand disinfectant fluids
- 3.1k face shields
- 2.5 thousand protective suits
- 1 thousand FFP2 masks
- 1 thousand FFP3 masks
- 600 pcs. non-contact thermometers
The campaign has a nationwide reach, and the coordinator of the entire campaign is Medical Unit USP Zdrowie – a team of 48 people who work daily with the medical community.
*Working with the medical community, we have the opportunity to directly listen to their needs. In the face of the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, this action is our natural response to these needs. We could not imagine acting otherwise* – says Aniela Nowakowska – Medical Unit Director USP Zdrowie.
